CEPPS Shares Innovative IMEL Tools

SHARE

Gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) are essential elements to consider when designing and implementing inclusive programs that adequately respond to the needs of diverse members of the societies in which we work. CEPPS’s Inclusive Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (IMEL) approach is grounded in principles of inclusion and accountability, created to ensure that CEPPS partners have the data and insights necessary to create effective programs that bolster inclusive and accountable democratic systems.

In celebration of International Democracy Day this year, CEPPS contributed reflections gained from integrating inclusion into program design, monitoring, and evaluation to the AEA 365 Blog. In the post, the team shared key strategies and resources that leverage the IMEL approach to advance GESI by seeking transformational change in systems and structures.

To learn more, join CEPPS for the American Evaluation Association Evaluation 24 Conference on October 25th from 2:30-3:30pm PST panel presentation on Building Participatory and Inclusive Multi-partner Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Systems. During the discussion, we will examine how CEPPS operationalizes inclusive MEL techniques within our democracy, human rights, and governance work and share a series of case studies illustrating how this approach translates into real-life practice.

In the lead up to the conference, CEPPS will feature one IMEL tool each week via our social media channels. Follow us on X, LinkedIn and Instagram to explore each tool and the consortium’s IMEL approach.
