Susan Grubb
Senior Representative, NDI

Susan Grubb serves as the CEPPS Senior Representative for NDI on the CEPPS Administration Team. Prior to joining CEPPS/NDI, Susan supported democracy, human rights, and governance development programs with the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) for over 12 years from both the field and DC in Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa, including as Deputy Country Director for Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Country Director for Vietnam, and Program Director for Libya and Tunisia. She also served as the Embassy Disaster Preparedness Coordinator for the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal from 2013-2015, including during the Gorkha earthquake of April 2015.

Susan holds a BA from the University of Colorado – Boulder (International Affairs) and master’s degrees from Stanford University (Russian and East European Studies) and the University of California – Berkeley (Political Science).
