David is a youth development professional with over ten years’ experience working in Southeast Asia and the United States. After graduating from Brandeis University, David moved to Thailand to work as an ESL teacher. Soon after, he started working with UNESCO Bangkok, where he managed and supported youth empowerment and leadership programs, particularly with marginalized youth groups such as indigenous youth and LGBTQI+ communities. His areas of interest with youth programming include strong positive youth development models such as youth participatory action research and futures literacy.
