Chris Hobbs serves as the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS) Senior Representative for IFES on the CEPPS Administration team. He has over 15 years of experience in elections, democracy, governance, conflict, and humanitarian assistance with nearly a decade of field experience in Burma, Jordan, Nepal, Iraq, and Cambodia.
Prior to IFES, Mr. Hobbs served as USAID’s Congressional Liaison to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He previously served as the Director of Democracy, Governance and Humanitarian Assistance with USAID Burma. He holds a Juris Doctor from Temple University and a B.A. from the Elliot School at George Washington University where he studied East Asian Affairs and International Economics.
